Couples Therapy
Feeling disconnected? Fights blow up from the most trivial things? Having the same kind of fights over and over? Feeling like both of you are stuck in a cycle? You are not alone.
We learn to relate to others from a very early age, and our experiences through life often reinforce that pattern of relating. Other factors such as trauma or broken trust can also injure our ability to relate in a healthy way to our significant other. These templates of relating might have helped us survive and adapt at one point in the past, they can create problematic patterns in the present.
In couples therapy, I work with couples to identify the problematic patterns that are inhibiting the growth of their relationship through the lens of emotionally focused therapy (EFT). Through our sessions together, we will work on learning new patterns of relating to each other so both you and your partner, as well as your relationship, can flourish.

What are your rates?
I charge $150 for each 1-hour individual therapy session. For couples, the rate is $180.
I also offer discounted rates. For individuals: $75-135. For couples: $90-160.

Do you offer online or in-person sessions?
Currently, I only offer online therapy. In extraordinary circumstances, I may offer in-home therapy in person depending on my clients’ comfort levels and needs.
How do I know if you are a good fit as my therapist?
I offer a 30-minute FREE phone consultation before beginning therapy. We will spend this time getting to know each other better, and you will get the opportunity to ask me anything about my approaches to determine if I may be a good fit for you.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
This is an important question. The fact that you are on this page indicates that there is something in your life that’s bothering you, and that you may be ready to tackle it. To gain some clarity, ask yourself these questions about whatever problem that’s bothering you:
- Has it been bothering me for more than a month and it’s hard to let it go?
- If I wake up tomorrow, and it has magically gone away, will my life be better?
- If I don’t address it, will it continue to bother me one month from now? How will it continue to impact my life?
- Has it been hard for me to find solutions despite my own problem-solving attempts and others’ advice?
- Am I ready to dedicate some time consistently to the solving of this problem?
If you answer yes to most or all of these questions, therapy might be a good idea for you. Another factor to consider is the affordability of therapy for you at this time, but if finance is a real concern for you, don’t hesitate to reach out — I am happy to negotiate on a case-by-case basis.
